Ronald D. Tateman, Sr.

Tateman, Ronald D., Sr., 79, of Butler Township, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015.
Ron is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Louise (Kuntz) Tateman; children, Tammy of Dayton (husband Jim) Ron Jr. of Tipp City (wife Diane), Patrick of Springfield (wife Lisa), and Joy of Vandalia; 13 grandchildren; sister, Carol Lynn Henning of Riverside, FL (husband Dave); and many nieces and nephews.
Ron was a graduate of Bowling Green State University; and a proud US Army veteran. He was an entrepreneur and business owner who had wide ranging interests and passions. Ron was a skilled hunter and marksman who enjoyed many outdoor pursuits including fishing, sailing, hot rodding and quarter midget racing. He was an accomplished pilot with a particular passion for aerobatics and experimental aircraft. Ron enjoyed cooking, wine tasting and computers. Of all the passions in his life, none were more important than his family and friends, who will miss him greatly.
Bereavement luncheon at St. Christopher's (Vandalia) will follow graveside service.
