Ronald D. Talkington

TALKINGTON, Ronald D., age 71, of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2006. He was born March 13, 1935 in Wallace, WV, the son of Kenneth and Retha (Parsons) Talkington. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post 598, Masonic Lodge #147, and the Shriners. He is survived by his wife, Jane Talkington; 5 daughters, Evelyn (Mike) Mazzone, Sarah Bowen, Ronnie D. McGiever, Kathy (Matt) Wells, and Ronda Talkington; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Beverly Angel and Deborah Amos; 3 brothers, Kenneth (Nellie) Talkington, James (Brenda) Talkington, and Kenzel Talkington; He was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 12 (Noon) at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
