Ronald D. Champion, age 79, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
Ronald was born in McRoberts, KY on July 9, 1943 to the late William Elum & Jesse Pearl Champion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Mae; 8 brothers, George William, Charles, Woodrow, Elwood, Delano, Emory, Tom and Daniel; and 3 sisters, Louise, Bonnie and Helen.
Ronald is survived by his sister-in-law, Dorothy, who was married to Delano; and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 12:30-1:30 pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 1:30 pm.
Ronald will be laid to rest with his wife at Willow View Cemetery.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
