BROWN, Ronald Dean, age 67, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, March 20, 2010. He was born May 12, 1942 in Summerfield, Ohio the son of the late Clyde and Stella Brown. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Melvin Lynn and Robert Jr. He is survived by his wife, Connie Marie (Hood) and his sons, William and daughter-in-law JoAnn, Ronald and Jeremy; brothers Donald Dean and William Matthew; sisters Mary M Barlett, Ora Viola Wallace, Alice Everel Sercish and Katheryn Hanlan; grandchildren Kyle K., Jacob T., Calista M., Jeremy T., Caitlyn E., Kelsey M., Brandie L. and Joann M., along with several nieces and nephews. Ronald joined the USAF in December of 1961 and served until May of 1984 when he retired as a Sergeant. At one point in his career, Ronald was stationed oversees in Japan. He continued working for the USAF at DESC from 1984 until he retired with numerous awards in March of 1994.
