Ronald R. Cordell Sr.
October 1, 1938 — July 17, 2020
Ronald Richard Cordell Sr., age 81 of Englewood, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2020. He was born October 1, 1938 in Pikeville, Tennessee to William and Mary (Hinton) Cordell.
Ronald is survived by his children, Sharon Page, Debbie (Mark) Newburn, Dan (Dee) Cordell, Michael Cordell and Jenny Weaver; ten grandchildren, William (Carrie) Cordell, Jessica and Adam Newburn, Raymond Jr. and Richard, Nikki (Scott) Miller, Travis Cordell, Danie (Emily) Cordell, Brandon Worl and Abbey Siler; fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; and numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings; his first wife, Joyce Cordell; his second wife, Janet Cordell; three sons, Ron Cordell, Jr., Ray Cordell and David Gilmore.
Ron worked in the fastener industry most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, auto repair, meteorology, caring for his yard and most importantly, his family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 10:00 to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Vandalia, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
