Ronald Deron Byars came into the world on Jan. 25, 1965, at 3:45 p.m. from the union of Gloria and James Byars, who both preceded his death. Ronald is also proceeded in death by his brothers: James, Lenair, Gerald, Roland, and Christopher.

He received his education from Charles A. Prosser Vocational High School majoring in automotive body repair. He was baptized at an early age at Bethleham Healing Temple and later joined United Faith under the leadership of Rev. Saffo.

Ronald was a shipping/receiving clerk at Miller Fluid Packing for many years until his health began to fail.

Ronald married Linda Abney on Feb. 14, 2010, and a blended family began, 1 son Ronald Jr. and 3 step-daughters Shirene, Kimyatta, and LeIshea.

On Dec. 22, 2022, at 4:24 a.m. Ronald peacefully departed this life and leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife Linda, son Ronald Byars Jr, and 3 step-daughters Shirene Abney of Charlotte, NC, Kimyatta (Antwan) Cobbs, Dayton, OH, and LeIshea Martin of Ridgecrest, CA., sister Shawna (Johnnie) Robinson of Bellwood, IL., Michael Byars of Maywood, IL. 9 grandchildren, 3 special friends/brothers Emmett Wade of Texas, Carone (Deb) of Bellwood, IL., and Derrick Powell of Chicago, IL. a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family hopes those who would like to honor him will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial.
