Ronald O. Applegate

Ronald O. Applegate, age 74 of Dayton, passed away June 10, 2017. Ronald was born in Dayton to the late Edison and Mary Applegate. He was a faithful follower of the Lord and made sure to let his family and loved ones know that they were in his prayers, thoughts, and that they were loved. Ron enjoyed singing karaoke with friends and spending time with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brothers, Edison "Eddie" Applegate, Richard "Dickie" Applegate, and Daniel "Danny" Applegate; his loving cat, Precious.

Ronald is survived by children, Rhonda (Larry Whitt) Graley, Teresa (Chuck) Stratton, Ronnie Applegate; sister, Mary Applegate; grandchildren, Amber, Rob (Kyle), Leslie, Kerry (Anna), Nicole (Adam), Lauren, and Madison; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Jalen, Aaliyah, Brianna, A'den, Sady, Penelope, Dexter, Bentley, Lennon; and other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 1:30pm. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
