Romeo Cano Manlutac

Romeo Cano Manlutac, 79, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2023. Loving husband of Teresita Manlutac for 55 years. Cherished father of Aireen (Ed) Scheffler, Jalyn (Brian) Hemingway and George (Marites Bagsic) Manlutac, adored grandfather of Aaron (Olivia) Howland, Lincoln Howland, Jonathan Scheffler, Ashley Scheffler, Kaylee Scheffler, Monica (Connor) Gaffney, Maryknoll Hemingway, Lynette Hemingway, Michael Hemingway, John Michael Manlutac and Arjay Ryan Manlutac. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters whom reside in the Philippines.

Romeo was preceded in death by his parents Marciano and Guadalupe Manlutac.

Romeo was born in 1944 in Candaba Philippines. He met and married his wife and they started a family together. The family immigrated to the United States in 1999. He loved to garden and spending time outdoors. His favorite time was spent with family, especially his grandchildren. Romeo was a jokester and loved to make people laugh (even though they might not have understood what he was saying, ha) He was known to be a very hard worker and he traveled the world working on different construction projects to provide a good life for his family. Family and friends were most important to him and if they ever needed anything he was first to provide and offer help. He put everyone before himself. He will be very missed by all whom he touched.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Friday December 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in Dayton, Ohio.
