Roman Szpur

SZPUR, Roman, 91, of Kettering, OH passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008. He was born on November 20, 1916 in McKees Rocks, PA and raised near Lwow, Poland. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps, then joined the Air Force at Wright Field, resigning in 1963. He was and inventor, developer, and trouble shooter in laser tech, lighting systems, medical devices, and numerous other products. He held more than 40 patents. He was a loving husband to his wife and willing friend to all he met. He is survived by his wife, Ellen; stepsons, Steve Gary of CA, and Richard and wife Kristen Gary of Beavercreek, OH; and loving niece Michael Nylan of CA. No services will be held.
