LANK, Roland "Ray," age 80, of Kettering, passed away Fri., May 20, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born Nov. 8, 1924 in Eastport, ME to Frank & Edna Lank who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his wife of 55 years Jewel, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Roland is survived by his 2 daughters Edna Hamilton (Jack) and Alice Dockery both of Kettering; 3 granddaughters Jewel Mattingly (Jason), Lori Hamilton and Laura Eaton; 3 great-grandchildren Jason, Gary and Jessica; 3 sisters Georgie, Marian and Ruth and 1 brother Arthur. He retired from Delco Moraine after 40 years of service, was a member of the U.A.W. and of Faith Christian Fellowship Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps with service during W.W.II. Funeral services 11 A.M., Tues., May 24, 2005 at Faith Christian Fellowship 1778 Grange Hall Rd., Beavercreek. Pastor Rande Greene officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton. Visitation will be Monday from 5 - 8 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. and Tuesday from 10 - 11 A.M. prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Dayton in Ray's memory.
