Roland A. Sheward Jr.
Roland A. Sheward Jr., age 53, passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Roland was born June 16, 1957 in Dayton to Roland Sheward Sr. and Patricia Sheward.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roland A. Sheward Sr. and step-father Eugene McKinney.
Roland is survived by his mother, Patricia McKinney; wife Donna; daughter, Heather Marie (Jeremy) Elwer; grandson, Collin Elwer; special aunt, Becky (Jerry) Bohannon; and many other relatives and friends. Also his dog, Scooter, whom he dearly loved.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Royal Oaks Memorial Gardens.
