Williams, Roger Lee, age 68, of Fairborn passed away April 27, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born August 1, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert S and Earlene (Mowery) Williams.
Roger retired from General Motors/Delphi after 44 years of service. He was a "Band Dad" for Fairborn High School. Roger coached roller skating (having won many awards himself) and was an avid car buff. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Jody, of 44 years in 2014. He is now with Jody forever enjoying eternal peace together.
Roger is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Mark) Belvo of Miamisburg and son Kristopher (Stephanie) Williams of Beavercreek; grandchildren Evan, Caleb, Carson and Peyton; brother Jerry (Robin) Williams and special niece Chelsey Williams of Beavercreek; special dog, Molly; as well as many other family and friends.
A Celebration of Roger's Life will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel with Pastor Stu Rammes officiating. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery.
Roger's family will greet friends from 10-11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home.
