Roger William Loy Sr.

Roger W. Loy Sr., age 93 of Fairborn, Ohio went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2021. He was born February 25,1928 in Enon, Ohio son of the late Carl and Grace Loy.

Roger was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Roger proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran. He was a dedicated member of West Enon Church of God. Roger enjoyed reading his Bible, being outdoors, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Roger was a retired Postal Worker of 32 years in the Fairborn, Ohio area. Roger will be remembered for his smile, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Wilma Ary Loy; brothers, Harry, Kenny, and Melvin Loy; and great granddaughter, Willow Moore.

Roger is survived by his sons, Roger (Donna) Loy, Jr. and Adrian (Judy) Loy; grandchildren, Kristi (Justin) Hoskins, April (Erica) Henry, Patrick (Brooke) Loy, and Brittany (Matt) Moore; great grandchildren, Jake, Madison, Maddox, Caleb, Olivia, Gracie, Whitley, Wyndolyn, and Weslyn; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 10am-12pm at West Enon Church of God (4800 Snider Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324). A funeral service will begin at 12 pm with Pastor Earl Litman officiating. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
