Roger Lee Ward

Roger L. Ward, age 80, of Xenia, passed away on April 3, 2022. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 25, 1942 to the late John and Margaret Ward.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Ward and his wife, Kathleen Ward.

Roger is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Sandra Ward; son, Mark (Darcie) Ward; stepchildren: Brenda, Karen, and Rusty; grandchildren: Jason (Stephanie) Ward, Brian (Bobbi) Ward, Karsey Ward and Karmine Ward; great-grandchildren: Wendy, Alex, Destiny and Brian Jr.; and many other family and friends.

Roger loved bingo, golfing, camping, and playing cards. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7 from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where a funeral service will follow. Roger will be laid to rest at Minnich Cemetery. Donations can be made in Roger's name to the American Cancer Society.
