Roger Franklin Siler, age 72, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 23, 2017. Roger was born in Dayton on June 6, 1945 to the late John & Melvene Siler.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David & Hattie May Elliott; and brother, Bob Siler.
Roger retired from Diamond Tool & Die after 30 years of employment.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda Siler; children, David (Elizabeth) Siler, Jeffery (Kelly) Siler and Angel (Adam) Leath; grandchildren, Michael Brandon, Brandon, Zoe, Abbey, Logan, Emilie, Justin, Trista (Bobby Joe), Amanda, Chuckie and Justise; great-grandson, Foster Edward; sister, Christine Stamper; brother, John Siler; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 5-8pm at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 2pm at the funeral home. Roger will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery.
