Roger Rosell

ROSELL, Roger Joseph, age 84, of Dayton, OH, passed away Sat., April 21, 2007 after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Roscoe Rosell and Ruth Rosell Miller. Roger was a Combat Medic during W.W. II and a recipient of The Purple Heart Medal. He was an employee of Roadway Express until his retirement after many years of service. In 1943, Roger married the late June Edna Cagey Rosell who for 61 years was the love of his life and to their loving union three children were born. Roger and June were baptized as Jehovah's Witnesses in 1958 and were faithful to Jehovah until their deaths. Roger is survived by one son Randall Rosell & wife Shirley of Centerville; two daughters Wendie Ellis of Kettering and Connie Stavis & husband Malcom of Lebanon, OH; one grandson Joshua Steel of Centerville and one great-grandson Jacob. Roger also leaves two sisters-in-law Gladys Kemp and Carol Huntsman both of Barnesville, OH, nieces and nephews, special friends John & Sharon Johnson of Dayton and beloved pet Sydney. Memorial services 10:00 A.M., Thurs., April 26, 2007 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5636 Burkhardt Rd. Brother John Johnson officiating. Roger will join June in a private inurnment at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum at the family's convenience. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel.
