Roger Arron Mcafee

Roger Arron McAfee, age 67, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away on September 27, 2022. He was born on March 8, 1955 in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Roger and Beverly McAfee. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his son, Roger B. McAfee and two grandchildren: Peytin Emmalin and Collin Griffin.

Roger is survived by his children: Shawnda McAfee, Erin Griffin, Travis McAfee, and Kyler McAfee; sisters: Melanie (Dean) Meade and Nickilynn Evans; brother by heart, Gary Buck; grandchildren: Austin, Kierstin, Coltin, Ally, Drew, Travis, Dakota, Roger, and Waylon; nieces and nephew: Shannon, Lisa, Lorra, and Josh; childhood sweetheart and mother of his children: Linda Sue McAfee; and many other family and friends.

Roger spent his career as a machinist and a dedicated Cleveland Browns fan. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was always there for his family and friends no matter what. He will be missed dearly by all those who loved him.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 1:00pm.
