Roger D. Lucas, age 70, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
He was born October 31, 1947 in Brahome, WV to the late Pifer and Rouie (Blair) Lucas.
He worked in the construction field as an electrician and home builder for many years. Roger also worked as a mechanic and heavy equipment operator over the years. He enjoyed watching sports especially the Seattle Seahawks, the Kansas City Chiefs, and Nascar.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemarie (Pashoff) Lucas, son, Roger Lee Lucas, and sister, Debra Lucas.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Angela Benbow, Pamela Lucas, and Anita Jarrett; 12 grandchildren including Brayden Lucas who was like a son to Roger; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Hall, Brenda Lucas, and Linda Lucas; brothers, Ronald Lucas, Herbert Lucas, Pifer Lucas, Jr., and Joe Lucas as well as many nieces and nephews.
Roger was a great dad and grandpa, and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
