Roger Jenkins, Sr

JENKINS, Roger A., Sr., 72, of Dayton passed away peacefully Monday October 6, 2008 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents John Ed and Virgie Jenkins; sisters Marvie Smith and Nannie Mae Smith; and grandson Jason Yates. Roger is survived by his wife of 53 years Alberta Jenkins; children Carolyn Sue Hillje, Roger Jenkins, Jr., wife Cheri, Donna Jenkins, Geary Jenkins, wife Sharon, Sherry Towe, husband Steve, and Kimberly Jenkins; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends, including his dog Pacino. He was a wonderful husband, father, and papaw and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A funeral service will be held 10:00AM Friday October 10, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Thursday October 9, 2008 at the funeral home.
