October 25, 1936 — December 2, 2019
Roger Hale, age 83 of Kettering, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 25, 1936 in Scranton, Kentucky the son of Willie and Hattie Hale.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Gregory Hale and 7 siblings.
Roger loved vegetable gardening,fishing and being outdoors. He enjoyed being a grandfather. He was a veteran of the US Army serving at the end of the Korean conflict. He retired as a bus driver for RTA in May 1999.
Lowell is survived by his wife of 61 years Jean; sons, David (Julia) Hale and Brian Hale;
grandchildren Kyle Hale and Morgan Simpson. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at December 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be December 7, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Roger's name to Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Pike Dayton, OH.
