Roger Bryan Evans, Sr.

Roger Bryan Evans, Sr., age 66, of Dayton, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away on November 1, 2022. He was born on August 29, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late John and Thelma Evans.
He always made it his goal in life to make a person smile. He seemed to know everyone and never met a stranger. He was a comedian and enjoyed telling jokes to make others laugh. He loved fishing, the Bengals, and anything that had to do with sports. He will be greatly missed by everyone that loved him.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his sister, Merry Saxton.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Evans; children: Roger (Shelley) Evans, John (Justinea) Evans, Brea Evans, Maria Evans, and Brian (Christian) Tipton; grandchildren: Keaton (Calista) Evans, Sadra St. Clair, and Anthony Evans; his brothers, Glen Evans and Keith Evans; soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Maralee Ann Evans; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family a friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00pm.
Donations can be made to the funeral home for funeral services.
