Roger Thomas Cox

Roger Thomas Cox, age 86 of Springboro, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Hillspring of Springboro. He was born on July 6, 1936 in Germantown, Ohio to the late Joseph and Mary Cox. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by nine siblings, Pearl, Irene, Orville, Dorothy, Hazel, Kenneth, Elizabeth, Allen, and Joseph.
Roger is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Cox; two sons, Robert and Michael Cox; three grandchildren, Benjamin Cox, Eva Wilson, and Ethan Wilson; brother, John Cox and his wife, Marilynn. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
He was devoted to his faith and a proud Navy Veteran. Roger graduated from University of Cincinnati with an Engineering Degree. Roger enjoyed playing golf and watching sports, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. He is very loved and will be deeply missed. The most cherished memories for his family will always be, many vacations and his dry sense of humor.
Visitation will be held on Monday, 8/29/2022 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home-South chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, Ohio 45439). Memorial Service will be officiated by Pastor Doug Surber at 2:00 pm following the visitation.
