Roger L. Cooper

Roger L. Cooper, age 80 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away July 4, 2024 in Edmond, OK he was born January 26, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio son of the late Floyd and Faye Cooper.

Roger was a graduate of Nettie Lee Roth High School. It is there, as a sophmore in high school, he met the love of his life. Carolyn Cooper. In which they were married for 56 beautiful years.

Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. 

Roger was a avid fisherman and fan of NASCAR. He loved watching the Cincinnati Reds and The Ohio State Buckeyes play.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Cooper; 

Roger will be missed by his daughter, Amanda (Gerald "Mark") Welch; grandchildren, Gannon and Amy Welch; many nieces and nephews including Stacy (Ron) Smeltzer; and special friends. 

A graveside service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 West National Road, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344 dates are to be determined. Memorial contributions can be made in Rogers honor to the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Rogers honor to a charity of the donors choice.
