Roger Carson

CARSON, Roger D., age 54, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2006. He was born November 6, 1951 in Wolfe County, Ky, the son of John and Rebecca Carson. He is survived by four sisters, Janet (Victor) Hopper, Naomi Rogers, Mary Carson, and Ida (Elva) Richmond; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents; step-father, William Winfield; four brothers, Ray, John, Paul, and Richard Carson. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 10, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) with Rev. Vincent Shope officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to time of service. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Hospice of Dayton.
