Rodney Wade Floyd, age 42 of Huber Heights, passed away January 29, 2011. He was born January 29, 1969 in Dayton to Wade and Joy Floyd, who both survive.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Floyd.
In addition to his parents, Rodney is survived by his wife, Kathy Floyd; son, Wade Floyd; step-daughter, Heather (Tim) Owens; step-son, David (Stephanie) Neaves; grandchildren: Riley, Brenton, Caleb and Alayna; brother, Michael (Vicki) Floyd; and a host of other family members and friends.
Rodney spent many years in the Heating and Cooling Industry as an inside salesman. He was a current employee at Johnstone Supply Co., and worked previously at 2-J Supply Co., was a member of the F.O.E., graduated from Wayne High School in 1987 and was a motorcycle enthusiast.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
