Rodney A. Barker

Rodney A. Barker, age 67 of Englewood, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born December 23, 1949 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Ed and Avanell Barker.
He was a machinist formerly with NATCO, New Deal Tool and Universal Tool. He was also co-owner of Bingers Bar from 2010-2016.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister Catherine Mae and granddaughter, Courtney Ann McDaniel.
Rodney will be missed by his companion of 17 years, Janet Yeazel and her son, Randall; children, Brian (Shanelle) Barker, Betsy (Shane) McDaniel and Joe Barker; grandchildren, Shianne, Lainey, Zach and Chase Barker; Sean and Andrew McDaniel; siblings, Ron (Kathy) Barker, Phil (Teri) Barker and Lisa Wettig.
Family will recieve friends Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424).
