Robyn Lou Wukmer

WUKMER, Robyn L. (Lemons) was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 17, 1960. She lived in Beavercreek , Ohio growing up and accepted Jesus as her Saviour during her teen years. She graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1978. After High School she attended Cedarville College for 1 year and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Dayton. While attending Faith Baptist Church she met her future husband, Steve Wukmer, and was married to him on March 14, 1981. After she was married, she moved to Pontiac, MI where her husband was attending Midwestern Baptist College. After Steve graduated from college in 1983, she served the Lord faithfully by his side for 27 years as a helpmeet, Pastor's Wife, Teacher, and a House Mother in Children's Home to several children from broken homes. Upon her promotion to Heaven on January 21, 2010 she was serving the Lord at Solid Rock Boy's Home as the Director Wife and House Mother. When she was promoted to Heaven, she joined her father and mother, Chester and Esther Lemons, which preceded her to heaven as well as her grandmother and her aunts. She left behind her husband Steve Wukmer, her sister and brother-in-law Mellanie and Duane Early, her brother and sister-in-law Tim and Pat Lemons who waits for that glad reunion day in Heaven when they see Robyn again. She also leaves behind four nieces and their families. Robyn's favorite verse in the Bible was Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through Faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works lest any man should boast." Robyn's favorite song was Amazing Grace, which she sang many times in her Service for her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Robyn's heart desire was to give honor and glory to her Lord, which she served faithfully until she was promoted to Heaven, and to see souls saved. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating.
