Robin Barker

Robin Barker, 48, of Kettering, OH was called to be home with Jesus on Wednesday Sept. 7 after a hard battle with cancer. She was a graduate of Patterson Co-op High School. She had 15 years of service at Montgomery County Courts, she loved her job and her co-workers. She is preceded in death by her father: Thomas "Pete" Collins. She is survived her mother: Sandy Collins (Gary Hester); her husband of 24 years: Steve; her three children: son, Eric Barker and two daughters, Mandy Shaw and Stephanie Barker; her beloved grandchildren: Tommy Shaw, Katie Shaw and Hannah Barker; her sisters: Tammie Collins and Shelly Barton (James); her nieces: Jami Barton (Sophia), Brandi Barton, Kaleshia Paschal, Miel Paschal (Alaya), Nikki Paschal and Tyra Collins; and nephew: Tyler Barton; and Special Aunt: Becky, who has been so helpful. She will always be remembered for her kindness and her unfailing devotion to her family.

Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 from 12pm – 2pm with funeral service starting at 2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
