WOOD, Robert A." Woodeye", 66, of Dayton passed away Friday March 20, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Louise Wood; brother James Edward Wood; and grandson Robert Edward Jones. Woodeye is survived by his daughter Vickie (Thomas) Jones; grandson Aaron Jones; sisters Brenda Stacy and Betty (Edward) Pack; brother Ted (Jean) Wood; aunt Laura Mae Wood; very special friend Vera Wilz; many other family and friends. Woodeye will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his little princess (daughter) and grandson. He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy with service during Vietnam on the USS Francis Marion as a fireman. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and bowling, playing pool, and listening to bluegrass. A memorial service will be held 6:00PM Thursday March 26, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
