Robert A Wills, departed this life November 27, 2013, to be with our Heavenly Father.

He was born Sept 26, 1920, in Enfield, NC. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Roxie Wills, sisters Doreatha Robinson, Ann Johnston and Deborah Hagan, and brother, Samuel Wills.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Fannie Wills , daughter Veronica Lee, 3 granddaughters, Heather (Walter) Scott, Alexandria Douglas and Kimberly Carl, 4 great grandchildren, his special nephew Lt Col (Ret) Walter "Roderick" (Idora) Price and family. The eldest of 11 children, he is also survived by sisters Louise Price, Mainer Milam, Eunice Burgess, and Delores (Matthew) Cooper, and brothers Jeremiah (Elizabeth) and John (Isabeller) Wills.

Robert retired from the U.S. Army after thirty years, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant (MSG). He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was an avid gardener and loved to hunt rabbits and squirrels. He also was a great fisherman and handyman, too.

Robert will be missed by many, many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2013, from 10-11 am at Patterson Park Church (3655 E. Patterson Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45430). The service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place at the Dayton National Cemetery.

Robert was a faithful Christian, who will be missed by all who knew him.
