Robert William Pressel

Robert Pressel, age 74, of West Carrollton, passed away Friday, November 21, 2008. Robert served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Dayton Press for 30 years where he retired. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Schindler Pressel; sons, Steve Pressel, Richard Pressel and Timothy Pressel; grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Robert, Carol, Tamara and Justin; brother Art Pressel; sister-in-laws Joyce (Clint) McCroson and Jean Schindler; brother-in-law James Scenters; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Scenters. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel. The service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Springboro United Methodist Church in Robert's Memory.
