Robert David White, age 87 of Dayton, passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 31, 1932 in Montcoal, West Virginia the son of Obie and Goldie White.
Bob was proudly a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army. Bob loved thrifting and running his flea market. He was always one to get a good deal. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and Papa who will be dearly missed.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Loeda; children, Linda Herring, Robert D. (Ruth)White Jr., Tina Spurgeon & Connie (Rick) Colegrove; grandchildren, Crystal, Rachel (Danny), Nikolas, Sonya, Kelly, Michael & Christopher; great grandchildren, Sonny, Elam, Rylan, Jax, Chloe, Conner & Elijah; and many other loving family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Pam Kerns; and 7 siblings.
Memorial donation can be made to St. Jude's in Bob's honor.
Visitation will be October 12, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Internment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Kettering.
