Robert Wells

Robert "Bob" Wells, age 77, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away on September 27, 2022. He was born on March 3, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Nora Wells. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Maxwell "Max" Wells, Joseph Carl Wells, Charles Elwood Wells, and Roger Wells, and sister Lucille Ellis.

Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years Janet Wells; sons Chris Wells and Tim (Stacy) Wells; grandsons Ryan Joseph Wells and Corey Jonathan Wells; brother Richard (Sandy) Wells; sister Marjorie Hutchison; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Bob worked for Chrysler in Dayton for 37 years. He enjoyed the great outdoors and spending time with his family. Bob was an active member of the United Church of God in Fairborn.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg for their exceptional care.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439, officiated by Church Elder David Hemsley. Visitation will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 6, until the time of service. Bob will be laid to rest at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
