Robert D. Wellman

Wellman, Robert D. "Bob", age 84, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed into eternity with the Lord early Tuesday morning, January 22, 2019 at home. Because he was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, we believe in God's promise that he is in no more pain.

Bob was a 1953 graduate of Lanier High School in Preble County, Ohio. Bob served his country in the Army before beginning a 30 year career with GM/Inland Division.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. and Kathryn Wellman and one brother, Ronnie. He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia; his step-son Phil Parish (Kathie); four grandchildren, Andy (LesLee), Mark (Jenn), Ben (Paige) and Lauren. He was blessed with eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters Sandy Ulrich (George) and Pam D'Amico (Angelo) and one brother Mike (Jackie) Wellman. There are many other extended family members and dear friends who were very special to him.

Bob loved his wife, his family and his country. We will miss his love and laughter.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel with Rev. David McKinney officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery in Beavercreek.

Bob's family will greet friends from 10-11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
