Robert W. Pohle

Robert W.Pohle, age 89, of Ringgold, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 5th, 2015. Bob served in the U. S. Army during WWII as a medic and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 59 years, C. Jean Pohle; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and 2 grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his children, Bob (Gabrielle) Pohle, Becky (Steve) Daugherty, Barry (Cheryl) Pohle, Candy (John) Howells and Bill (Irmgard) Pohle; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Delores (Marlin) Master; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 11am-12pm at Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church (456 W. Spring Valley Pike, Centerville, OH 45458). The service will follow at 12pm. Burial will take place at David's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Spring Valley Academy (1461 E Spring Valley Rd, Centerville, OH 45458).
