Robert Vadnais

Vadnais, Robert C. (Col. Bob), age 93, of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, 11/3/12. Born 5/10/19 in Minneapolis to John and Carrie Vadnais. Preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette; son, John; daughter, Karen; brothers, Harry, William, and sister, Florence; son in law, Jim Dagg. Survived by children, William of Xenia, Gene (Teresa) of Miamisburg, Bobbie Wright (Alan) of Washington,DC, Mary Dagg of Kettering, Nancy Greek (Brad) of Quincy, Joe of Beavercreek, daughter in law, Kim Vadnais, 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.
Col. Bob had 32 years of distinguished military service in the Air Force; a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam.
Visitation Weds. 11/7/12 from 5-8 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., and one hour prior to Mass .
Mass of Christian Burial Thurs.11/8/12 at St. Lukes Catholic Church, Beavercreek at 10:30am.
Burial, with full Military Honors, Fri. 11/9/12 11:00am at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. in Col. Bob's memory.
