Robert C. Taylor, age, 83 of Miamisburg, passed away May 20, 2022. He was born April 14, 1939 in Rarden, OH to the late Orville and Frances (nee Schmitz) Taylor. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janet (nee Gibbs) Taylor; son, Robert Taylor, Jr.; sisters, Carol and Ruth Taylor.
He is survived by his daughter, Robin (Brian) Taylor-Cox; sister, Lenora McDermott; brother-in-law, Wayne Chasteen; four granddaughters, Cassidy Cox, Katie Laux-King, Riley and Ava Taylor; grandson, Cameron Cox; step-son, Marty Marcum and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Robert worked and retired from General Motors after 37 years. He served in the United States Navy from 1958-1962. Robert was an avid NASCAR fan.
Family will receive guests from 10-11 AM on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, 45459) where a funeral service with military honors will begin at 11AM.
