Major Robert M. Stuart ,USA Retired, born February 17, 1924, in Warren, Ohio to Seth Robert and Goldie (Greer) Stuart. He began his Military career in 1942 as a U.S. Marine in WWII. After graduating Case Western Reserve Univ. in 1947, and was commissioned in U.S. Army and served as a fixed wing and helicopter pilot in Korea and Vietnam conflicts. Bob retired in 1967 and earned his MBA at Wright State University. Bob taught for 20 years at Sinclair College being honored as Professor Emeritus in 1986. His wife Elizabeth Anne (Davis) shared his life for 61 years. He was preceded in death by son Robert Brian and daughter in law Jennifer Rowekamp Stuart. Bob departed this life in July 5, 2006. Left to mourn and miss him dearly are his daughter Sherry and husband David Vanderneut; grandson Christian Vanderneut and wife Wendy all of Kent, Ohio; grandson Kyle Vanderneut of Los Angeles, CA and granddaughter Megan A. Stuart of Salisbury, VT; and great grandsons Connor and Nathan Vanderneut. A celebration of life and God's love will be held Monday, July 10, 2006 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 5040 Rye Dr., in Huber Heights, at 2:00 pm with family greeting one hour before. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Dayton. Interment will follow services at Old Warner Cemetery.
