Robert E. Smith

Robert "Bob" Smith, age 90, of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024, with his daughter by his side.

He was born in Cleaton, KY on November 20, 1933, to the late William and Lillian Smith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie (Margie) Smith, and his brother and sister, William Smith Jr., and Frances Parlett.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Sandi (Morgan) Frazer; his nephew, Ron (Debbie) Smith; his niece, Debbie (Marc) Virkus; and his three great nieces and nephew: Danielle Barry, Rachel (Ben) Naguy, Jessica (James) Smith, and Max Virkus.
Bob and Margie were married for 52 years until her passing in 2017. He was a beloved member of the Miami Valley Baptist Church for the Deaf & Hearing, and an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and the Dayton Flyers. He loved his family, always had a warm smile, and such a great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:30pm. Bob will be laid to rest next to his wife, Margie, at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
