Robert Eugene "Bob" Shanks, age 67 of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born January 13, 1956 in Xenia, Ohio the son of the late Pearl and Helen Shanks.
Bob always had a smile on his face and could make friends with anyone he met. He had a positive outlook on life and was always willing to help others in need.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, William Shanks.
Bob is survived by his siblings, Catherine (Dale) Dice, George Shanks and Michael (Chriselda) Shanks; nieces and nephews, Angie Dice-Anderson, Christopher (Amanda) Dice, Crystal Shanks, Hillary Shanks, Joshua (Ashley) Shanks and Ryan Shanks; aunt, Helen Cooper and many great nieces, great nephews and cousins as well as many lifelong friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Zion Park at a later date to be announced.
