SELL, Robert age 49 passed away Friday, July 27. He was born in Milwaukee Wis. May 16, 1963 to James and Judith (Benishek) Sell.
He is survived by his parents; sisters, Barbara (Eric) Berenstein and Carolyn (Robyn) Kinford, and Vicki Ryan; brother, Richard (Darleen) Sell; and nieces and nephews, Mark, Joshua, Matthew, Sarah, Emma, Zachary, Elizabeth, Noah, and Nathan; and other close family members and friends.
Robert moved to Huber Heights in 1967 with his family and attended Huber Heights Elementary schools and Jr. High. The family moved to Lancaster, California in 1978 where he graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1981.
In 1981 Robert enlisted in the United States Air Force and served six years. He had tours in Korea and Italy before returning to the states to complete his term of service. The family returned to Riverside, Ohio in 1982.
For the past 22 years he was employed as cable and line technician for Time Warner, TCI, Viacom and other cable company predecessors in the Dayton area. Robert liked outdoor activities including boating, fishing, and hunting. He spent many hours with his black Labradors along the Stillwater River and Aullwood Farms area.
He was an avid Harley-Davidson rider and enjoyed many rallies and local events to raise money for charities. Robert took many vacation trips to Mercer, Wisconsin with his sister and brother-in-law to join bike rallies in Northern Wisconsin with his cousins and friends.
Most of all, he loved his nieces and nephews who will miss him very much.
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
