Robert Anthony Search

Robert Anthony Search, age 77, of Dayton, passed away October 21, 2024. Robert was born in Inglewood, California on September 16, 1947 to the late Thomas and Bennie Search.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by wife of 54 years, Devona Search; son, Michael Search; son, Anthony Search; daughter, Elizabeth Search; Daughter-In-Law, Kelli Edgington; siblings, Thomas Michael Search, Pam (Donald) Metcalf, Jeff (Terry Miller) Search; grandchildren, Shirley Search, Thomas Search and Anabelle Search; nieces, nephews, family members and friends. 

Robert retired as a machine maintenance repairman. He is a Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was very proud of his time in the service.

In his free time, he enjoyed landscaping, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, traveling and discovering new winery's with Devona. 

Robert had a great sense of humor. He was a movie buff. Robert loved his home and family deeply.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roberts memory to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton). 

There will be a graveside service held at 10:00am on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
