Robert Michael "Rick" Rickett

Robert Michael "Rick" Rickett, age 81, of Tipp City, passed away March 27, 2025. He was born January 31, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Roy and Goldie Rickett. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his daughter, Tonya Michelle Rickett; sister, Janet Smith; brother, Richard Rickett; and life partner, Mary Mikel.

Rick is survived by his children: Robert M. Rickett II (Kelly) and Christina McKinley; step-daughter, Leslie Watkins; grandchildren: Tonya Michelle Rickett II and Myles Lee Rickett; sister, Wanda Long (Jerry); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rick was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam War. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. Rick is a member of the Wolf Pack. He was an avid hunter, loved riding his Harley and enjoyed working on hot rods. Rick loved watching WWE and the Indy 500 with his son.

Funeral service is currently pending, please check back soon. Rick will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery where military honors will be rendered.
