Robert J. Puckett

Robert J. "Bob" Puckett, age 74 of Kettering, OH passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. He was born January 22, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to Robert and Laura (McKellar) Puckett. Bob married Deloris Berger on January 29, 1970 in Pasquotank, N.C.

Bob graduated from Trotwood High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Newport News during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Kettering Volunteer Firefighter and worked as an electrician for Texas Utility and Dayton Public Schools. Bob has been a huge Cleveland Browns fan for many years. He was a proud grandpa and has a great grandson due in March. Bob loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Robert is survived by his wife of 51 years, Deloris; daughters, Tammy Puckett and Chrissy (Shawn) Puckett-Sherman; three grandchildren, Scott (Tori Bargo) Renner, Michaela Wells and Kylie Brandenburg; siblings, Danny Puckett, Bev (Dave) Rhodes, Martha (Gene) Ullery, David and Delbert Puckett; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, brother and sister in laws, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ellen (Puckett) Knipfer.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at November 16, 2021 at 12:00 Noon the funeral home. Bob will be buried at Dayton National Cemetery following the services with full military honors.
