Robert P. Gard, age 80, of Beavercreek, passed away on May 25, 2012. He was born on February 7, 1932 to the late Russell and Anna Ruth Gard. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Rowan and grandson, Kevin Steele.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jeanette Gard; two daughters, Debbie Wright and Kathy (David) Seman; three step children, Kathy (Danny) Richardson, Jackie (Jim) Lewis and Jim Jackson, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and other family members and good friends.
Bob proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. Bob was a devoted worker at N.C.R. and GM for many years.
Upon request of the family, private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel.
