NEWSOCK, Robert age 95 passed away December 23, 2010 in Owensboro, KY with his son by his side. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Emma Newsock and daughter, Leslie Ann Griffith.
He is survived by his son, Philip Newsock of Owensboro, KY; brother-in-law, Russell (Priscilla) Glenn of Sandy Springs, GA; grandchildren, Laura Newsock Bartley of Evansville, IN, Nathan Griffith of Arden, NC, Bobbi Newsock, Barnhart, MO, and Robby Griffith of Morganton, NC; great-grandchildren, Miguel, Reah, and Shakara Bartley; and by three nephews.
He served in the United Sates Navy at Lieutenant Jr. Grade and was a WWII Veteran. He was also a member of South Minster Presbyterian Church. A service will be held December 29, 2010 at 10:30 am at Woodland Mausoleum Chapel. To send a message of condolence, please visit www.NewcomerDayton.com
