Robert Joseph Nartker

Robert 'Bob' Nartker, age 75, of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly the morning of April 27, 2022. He was born on November 24, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio. He was the son of Paul and Martha Nartker.


He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joni Bistrek. He married Sandy Bloomfield in 1979, who survives him in Beavercreek. He is also survived by his children, Joe Nartker of Anna, and Dan & Bethany Nartker of Columbus, along with his two grandchildren, Garret and Quinten Nartker. Also surviving to remember his life are his siblings, Ken Nartker and Marilyn Burns.


Bob proudly served in the Navy from 1968-1973. He retired from his life's work of being an electronic technician for many years. Bob enjoyed working with his hands to build and fix just about anything. He was a true family man and friend, who was always willing to help others. He loved his grandchildren more than they will ever know. He was a long time blood donor as another way of providing help to others.


Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 4pm to 6pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. A Blessing Service will be held immediately following the Visitation at the Funeral Home at 6pm. He will be laid to rest in Dayton National Cemetery.
