Robert L. Firster Napier

Robert L. (Firster) Napier, 71, of Dayton, passed away December 4, 2016. Robert was born in Oil City, PA on September 15, 1945 to the late Theodore and Hazel Firster. Robert was a catering chef with Dayton Public Schools for 16 years. He was a member of PFLAG, Dayton LGBT Center, First Baptist Church of Dayton and Eternal Joy MCC. He served his country in the US Air Force. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his husband of 10 years, Doug Napier; sons, Heath A. Firster, Robert A. (Keri) Firster; daughter, Molly B. Firster; grandsons, Damion M. Smith, Michael A. Firster; granddaughter, Alena Olson; brothers, Don (Shirley) Firster, Dick (Kay) Firster; and several other relatives and special friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 4 -5pm at Eternal Joy MCC, 2382 Kennedy Ave, Dayton, OH 45420, where funeral services will begin at 5pm with Rev. Joy Simpson officiating.
