Robert N. Brooks

BROOKS, Robert N., age 79, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008. He was born April 24, 1929 in Dayton, OH. He was a 1947 graduate of Stivers High School, attended the University of Dayton, and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maxine (Campbell) Brooks; two sons, Stuart (Vicki) Brooks of Dayton and Douglas (Becky) Brooks of Dublin; grandchildren, Danny Brooks, Nicki Brooks, Jimmy Goody, and Brittany Brooks; great-granddaughter, Moriah Brooks; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Karl Pauzar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Letetia (Zimmers) Brooks. Visitation will be held Friday, August 22, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Vanness officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
