Robert E. "Papa" or "Bob" Muth, age 76, of Miamisburg Ohio passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 9th, 2017.
Bob was born September 20, 1940 in Dayton Ohio and was a long time resident of the Dayton area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Eleanor (Daugherty) Muth; brother, William Muth, daughter, Krissy Muth; father-in-law, Earl Stone and sister-in-law, Lois A. O'Shell.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra (Stone) Muth; beloved dog, Bella; daughter, Denise Kinsel; sons, John (Janice) Muth, Aaron (Karen) Muth and Matt (Leslie) Muth; son-in-law, Dale Kinsel; mother-in-law, Dorothy Stone, Siblings, Dorothy (Joe) Dupont and Barbara (Jerry) Peppler; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Bill O'Shell and Dennis Stone; sisters-in-law, Marcia Stone, Debbie (John) Lawless, Teri (Ralph) Broyles and Sarah (Bob) Dougan.
Bob proudly served 6 years in the US Navy as a communications technician and received a Good Conduct Metal. Longtime member of St. Frances of Assisi in Bellbrook. Bob was one of the owners/operators of Muth Brothers that was founded in 1871.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton (1661 Nicholas Rd, Dayton, OH 45417).
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 1:30pm at Dayton National Cemetery, where Bob will be laid to rest. A celebration of life will be held afterwards for family & friends.
